Six communities in the Jasikan and Biakoye Districts of the Oti Region have taken delivery of improved toilet facilities.
The facilities constructed by Care Net Ghana have also been erected in Schools and Health Centers in the two districts. Bumbula, Asakyiri, Wurupong in the Biakoye District and in Lekante, Ketsi and Wusuta in the Jasikan District are the beneficiary communities.
The toilet facilities, supported by ANESVAD is set to improve the sanitation situation in these communities while reducing open defecation.
The latrines are expected to provide a decent place for defecation.
